Tally gives away most of its form builder: the free plan has unlimited forms and submissions, plus payments, signatures, conditional logic and file uploads up to 10 MB each. You pay for Pro when you want the Tally badge gone, a custom domain, team members or drop-off analytics. Business adds data retention controls and email verification for respondents. Registered nonprofits buying Pro for the first time can apply for a lasting 30% reduction.

JotformQuestions
Can I run a real business on Tally's free plan?
Yes, as long as the Tally branding on your forms doesn't bother you. The free plan has no cap on forms or submissions under the fair usage rules, and it already takes payments and signatures. It also connects to Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Zapier and Make, and sends webhooks.
What does Tally Pro add that I would notice?
Pro removes the Tally badge and lets you put forms on your own domain. It also adds collaborators, captures partial submissions and shows where visitors drop off. File uploads lose the 10 MB per file limit, and you get 30 days of version history.
How much do I save by paying Tally yearly?
Yearly billing gives you two months off. Its nonprofit page lists Pro at $29 a month or $290 a year, both in US dollars. That puts yearly Pro at roughly $24 a month.
Who qualifies for the nonprofit price on Tally Pro?
Nonprofit organisations taking Pro for the first time. You lose eligibility if you had Pro before, or if a past subscription was cancelled after failed payments. You apply through the link on Tally's nonprofit help page, and the price then drops to $20 a month or $203 a year.
Do I need Tally Business or is Pro enough?
Pro covers branding, domains, teams and analytics, which is what most small businesses pay for. Business, at $74 a month on the pricing page, adds automatic data retention controls and email verification for people filling in your form. It also keeps 90 days of version history instead of 30.
