Teachable has no free plan: you start on a free trial, then pick Starter, Builder or Growth, billed in US dollars. The tiers differ by how many products you can sell, how many admins you get and the cut Teachable takes per sale. Starter charges a 7.5% transaction fee that drops to zero on Builder and Growth when you use Teachable Payments. Yearly billing knocks up to 22% off the monthly price, and a 30-day money-back guarantee covers new subscriptions.

Questions
Is the 7.5% fee on Teachable Starter worth worrying about?
It depends on how much you sell. Starter costs $39 a month, or $29 a month paid yearly, and takes 7.5% of each sale on top of card processing. Builder removes that fee with Teachable Payments, so once your monthly course sales pass a few hundred dollars the jump in plan price starts paying for itself.
How many courses can I sell on each Teachable plan?
Teachable counts products, not only courses. Starter allows 5, Builder 10 and Growth 50, while Custom has no cap. Coaching offers and digital downloads count towards that number too.
Can a co-host or assistant log in to my Teachable school?
Starter and Builder come with one admin seat each. Growth raises that to five and adds custom permissions, so you can limit what each person sees. If two people need full access, you are looking at Growth or a Custom plan.
What does Teachable Payments cost on top of my plan?
Teachable's pricing page lists card fees of 2.9% plus 30 cents in the US and 3.9% plus 30 cents for international cards. PayPal costs more, from 3.49% plus 49 cents. A chargeback costs you $15.
Can I get my money back if Teachable doesn't suit me?
Teachable offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on its plans. You also get a free trial first, which runs 7 days by default. Cancel from your account settings before the trial ends if you don't want the first charge.
