Canva sells four plans: Free, Pro for one person, Business priced per person, and Enterprise on a quote. The free plan gives you 5GB of storage, one brand kit with three colours and up to 20 AI uses a month. Pro and Business both come with a free trial, and Canva bills them by the year on its pricing page. Registered nonprofits can apply for Pro features at no cost for up to 50 people.

Can I share a Canva Pro subscription with my business partner?
No, Canva lists Pro as a plan for individual use. To design together you need Business, which Canva charges per person and which adds team collaboration and 500GB of storage. Canva's pricing page shows Business at $250 a year per person in US dollars, before tax.
What do I lose if I stay on the free plan?
The free plan keeps 1.6M+ templates and 5GB of storage, but premium templates and the 141M+ premium stock items are Pro features. You get one brand kit limited to three colours, where Pro gives you five. AI use caps out at 20 Standard or Premium uses a month on Free.
Will Canva charge me automatically when the Pro trial ends?
If you entered payment details, Canva charges the plan fee for the next billing cycle at the end of the trial. Canva sends an email reminder before that happens. If you started the trial without a card, it ends on its own and you pay nothing.
My charity uses Canva. How do we get Pro for free?
Apply through Canva Nonprofits with proof that you are a registered charitable organisation, independent of government. Schools, political groups, grant-making foundations and companies are excluded. Approval gives Pro features to up to 50 people, and Canva offers extra seats at half price on Enterprise.
What happens to my designs if I cancel Pro?
You keep Pro features until the end of the period you already paid for. After that your account drops to Canva Free and your designs stay there. Instead of cancelling, you can pause for three months: a monthly plan at any time, an annual plan only in its last two months before renewal.
