Proposals

“Send proposals and get them signed”
1 of 2

A proposal tool should shorten the gap between "send" and "signed". PandaDoc builds quotes and contracts from templates with pricing tables and e-signatures, from $19 a month. Qwilr turns the proposal into a web page where the client picks options, signs and pays. Docusign, from $10 a month, is the name clients trust for contracts, though you write the proposal elsewhere.

Questions

What people ask about proposals.

Do I need a proposal tool or only an e-signature service?

If you write the document in Word or Google Docs and need a signature, Docusign covers that from $10 a month. If you send many quotes, a proposal tool saves more time: PandaDoc fills templates with your prices and collects the signature in the same flow. Qwilr goes further and lets the client choose options and pay on acceptance. Count your quotes per month before deciding.

Is there a cheap way to get proposals signed online?

Docusign's entry plan is $10 a month and PandaDoc's $19, and none of the three picks lists a free plan. Qwilr does not publish a starting price here, so ask for a quote. For a handful of signatures a year, your accounting tool's quote feature may be enough. A dedicated tool pays off once the faster signatures win you deals.

Are e-signatures from these tools legally valid in Europe?

Under the EU's eIDAS regulation, a simple electronic signature is valid for most commercial agreements such as quotes and service contracts. Docusign keeps an audit trail for every document, which helps you prove who signed and when. Some documents, such as certain property or employment papers, need an advanced or qualified signature. Check the rules for your contract type and country if the stakes are high.

Can I see whether a client opened my proposal?

Yes. PandaDoc tells you when a document is opened, and Qwilr shows who viewed which section. That tells you when to follow up and which part of the offer held their attention. Docusign tracks status and sends automatic reminders until the document is signed.

Does PandaDoc connect to my CRM?

PandaDoc syncs deals with your CRM, so a signed quote updates the deal without retyping. That suits sales teams and agencies sending many quotes from a pipeline. Qwilr and Docusign are aimed at the same B2B buyers. Check that your exact CRM is on the tool's integration list before you pay.
